Network Engineer

*Job Title: Network Engineer* *Location:* Dubai *Experience:* 3+ years *Department:* IT / Network Infrastructure *Employment Type:* Full-time *Role Overview:* The Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company’s network infrastructure. This role involves planning, designing, building, configuring, analysing, developing, interpreting, and evaluating complex system designs, architectures, and network diagrams. The engineer will ensure seamless integration with related systems and support the company’s current and future operational requirements. *Key Responsibilities:* Design, develop, and implement scalable and secure network architectures.
Build, configure, and maintain network hardware, software, and related infrastructure components.
Analyse and troubleshoot network performance issues to ensure optimal uptime and reliability.
Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements or upgrades based on evolving business needs.
Interpret and create detailed network diagrams, documentation, and technical specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network systems with other IT components.
Conduct capacity planning to support business growth and future technology requirements.
Ensure adherence to network security standards, policies, and best practices.
Monitor and manage network performance, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Provide support during network outages, maintenance activities, and system upgrades.
*Skills & Qualifications:* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience in network engineering, system design, and infrastructure management.
Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing technologies.
Proficiency with network tools such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or equivalent.
Experience with enterprise architectures and cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP is a plus).
Ability to interpret and draft complex network diagrams and documentation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
