Job Description
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Fusion Functional Consultant to support our business. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Core HR, Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Onboarding Journeys for mass recruitment, Absence Management, Fast Formulas, OTBI Reporting, Learning, and Performance modules. Additionally, this role will focus on ensuring end-users effectively utilize Oracle Fusion HCM, increasing system adoption, optimizing business outcomes, and maximizing the benefits of Oracle Fusion HCM.
Responsibilities:
Functional Support:
- Provide expert functional support and guidance to ensure the smooth operation of Oracle Fusion modules, addressing user queries, resolving issues, and optimizing system performance.
- Establish solid relationship with Business – understanding their pain areas, new requirements, road map, etc., and address/algin to them seamlessly.
- Assist HR teams, and Talent Management teams in leveraging Oracle Fusion modules for Core HR, Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC), Onboarding Journeys, Absence Management, Payroll, Learning, and Performance modules.
- Support HCM Data Loader (HDL) and HCM Extracts for ad hoc data migration.
Solution Design:
- Collaborate with Drydocks onshore teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and design scalable solutions within Oracle Fusion, leveraging best practices and industry standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis of critical incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in Oracle Fusion technologies, identifying opportunities for system and business improvements.
Configuration and Customization:
- Configure, customize, and maintain Oracle Fusion applications to align with business processes and requirements, implementing enhancements and updates as needed.
- Manage security roles, workflows, and approvals within HCM Cloud.
End-User Training & Documentation:
- Provide expert functional support and guidance to ensure the smooth operation of Oracle Fusion modules, addressing user queries, resolving issues, and optimizing system performance.

Collaboration and Coordination: Classification: Shared Data | Internal
- Work closely with onshore teams, internal stakeholders, and external consultants to coordinate support activities, share knowledge, and facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage business expectations and escalations promptly within SLA timelines in an appropriate ticketing system.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as a functional consultant with expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM Module.
- In-depth knowledge and strong expertise in:
- Core HR (workforce structures, position management, employment flows).
- Oracle Recruiting Cloud (ORC, job requisition flows) & Onboarding (mass recruitment, onboarding journeys).
- Absence Management (absence plans, accruals, approvals).o Fast Formulas (Payroll, Absence, Benefits, Compensation).
- OTBI & BI Publisher reports (advanced report development and HR analytics).
- Learning & Performance Management (course setup, performance cycles, goal tracking).
- Strong understanding of HR operations in the construction or related industries, including mass recruitment processes, candidate and employee engagement techniques, and basic HR day-to-day employee specific functions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote/offshore environment, collaborating with onshore teams across different time zones.
- Certifications in Oracle Fusion applications are desirable but not mandatory.
- Proactive and result-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
