Despite a growing customer base, the platform faced usability challenges that hindered their engagement and retention. The client wanted to revamp their mobile application to align with new-age eCommerce standards.

The design failed to meet user expectations and was behind competitors in visual appeal.

 

2. Limited Search Functionality:

 

The search experience was basic, with no structured layout. Users struggled to find products quickly due to the absence of interactive widgets and quick-buy features.

 

3. In-App Notifications Blocked by System Restrictions:

 

Users often disabled system-level notifications, preventing them from receiving critical order updates.

 

4. Lack of Stock Transparency:

 

Out-of-stock and low-stock items were not clearly indicated, leading to incomplete transactions.

 

5. No Real-Time Order Status on Home Page:

 

The absence of a quick-access order update feature created frustration.

 

6. Limited Online Payment Options:

 

The existing payment system did not offer multiple payment methods. Customers preferred UPI, card payments, and other digital options, which were not fully integrated.

We focused on UI/UX enhancements by redesigning the home page, cart, and search pages to provide a more modern and intuitive experience. Usability testing was conducted to refine navigation and improve the overall layout.

 

2. Search & Cart Optimization:

 

Next, we aimed at optimizing search and cart functionality. We introduced a widget-based search to enhance product discovery and implemented real-time stock indicators in the cart, helping users make informed purchasing decisions.

 

3. Payment & Notifications Update:

 

Upgraded the payment and notification systems. Razorpay was integrated to ensure smooth and secure transactions, while in-app notifications were implemented to enhance user engagement and keep customers informed.

 

4. Order Tracking & Customer Retention:

 

Improved order tracking and customer retention efforts. Quick order status updates were enabled directly on the home page, allowing users to track their purchases effortlessly. 

 

Additionally, a customer re-engagement campaign was launched, offering delivery fee waivers to encourage repeat purchases.
