Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, build, and optimize business intelligence dashboards and data models. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, hands-on experience with Power BI development, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to deliver insightful analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and deploy Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.

• Build data models, create measures using DAX, and optimize data sets for efficient reporting.

• Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Create ETL processes, integrate data from multiple sources, and ensure data quality.

• Optimize dashboard performance through efficient data modeling and best practices.

• Manage Power BI workspace, datasets, scheduled refresh, and access permissions.

• Troubleshoot issues related to data accuracy, report performance, and system integration.

• Maintain documentation for data sources, models, and dashboards.

• Support ongoing enhancements and contribute to overall BI roadmap.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.

• Strong proficiency in:

  • Power BI Desktop & Power BI Service

  • DAX, Power Query (M language)

  • Data modeling, star schema, and ETL concepts

• Good SQL skills for writing complex queries.

• Experience working with data sources such as Azure SQL, SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc.

• Understanding of data warehousing, data validation, and BI best practices.

• Ability to interpret business requirements and convert them into logical dashboards.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, or other cloud data platforms.

• Knowledge of Python or R for analytics.

• Exposure to Power Automate or integration with Microsoft ecosystem.

• Experience in fast-paced industries like fintech, retail, logistics, or consulting.
