Job Description

Ability to handle day to day support cases in order to support application modules developed in java and .net.

–>A candidate should have good understanding of IIS, Apache, Reverse Proxy, Tomcat and Docker/Podman 

->Candidate should have excellent troubleshooting skills on Linux platform.

->Good understanding of Azure IaaS, PaaS and Saas services are required

Job Responsibilities: Tech Support – Application

1. Work with global clients and provide support to Java and Dot net based application modules.

2. Possess ownership of following the support and planned tasks.
3. Self-driven, eager to learn new things and create work plan to meet performance objectives.
4. Handle and resolve day to day support cases and update the status within time.

5. Perform pre-deployment system (hardware/software) varication

6. Perform post-deployment application smoke test

7. Research & studies on new technologies and prepare knowledge base.

8. Monitor hardware and applications using Zabbix, an enterprise based monitoring tool

9. Work actively with operations and platform team.
10. Work on rotational shifts.

11. Willing to travel onsite (Hongkong) for short term/long term

Key Skills

1. Understanding on application work flow and technical architecture
2.Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
3. Good understanding of IIS, Apache, Reverse Proxy, Tomcat and Docker/Podman 
4. Understanding on cloud services(IaaS/PaaS/SaaS)
5. Good understanding and hands-on on Azure cloud
6. Have good hands-on on Linux OS including Docker containers.
7. Understanding on database (MSSQL, MySQL and Oracle)
8. Able to work on java/.net base application
9. Knowledge to implement and handle network monitoring tool (Nagios, Zabbix etc.)
10. Good documentation and presentation skills
